Our digital marketing manager will develop and lead our client's social media strategy/execution, web projects, content programs, and digital advertising efforts, while tracking analytics and keeping abreast of current social media trends and platform changes.

As the primary owner and architect of RLM's entire digital presence--and that of many of our clients--this position requires both digital and marketing savvy, highly refined writing and communication skills, good judgment, critical thinking and analytical skills, creative flair, and a strong understanding of digital marketing tools, audiences, and strategic planning.

To be considered you must be an expert in executing successful organic and paid social media, search, video, and programmatic campaigns, and be thoroughly proven on a variety of content management systems.

You should be able to craft template websites through systems such as Squarespace and Webflow, as well as lead web projects for Wordpress, Shopify, BigCommerce, and others. In addition to creating sites, you should be an optimization expert who can help lead clients’ sites in a modern direction, utilizing tools and marketing experience to increase conversion rates.

Expertise in creative project management is also required, as the Digital Marketing Lead will guide client’s photography and video projects, as well as the agency’s internal efforts to create engaging and modern content.

We are looking for an exceptional track record—four years minimum experience—of proven success with the creation and management of written content for internal and external audiences (b2b and b2c).

Lastly, the ideal manager should be a savvy and experienced team leader, with proven expertise leading junior employees to success through education and guidance.

Corporate/Enterprise or Agency experience is highly encouraged.


  • Plan, create, and manage execution of social/digital strategies for RLM and its clients across social and digital media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube.
  • Expertly manage all paid digital budgets and plans for our burgeoning roster of disruptive clientele, to ensure all marketing goals are met and exceeded.
  • Work seamlessly with PR/IR and other teams at the agency to ensure optimized, integrated work product.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest developments in social/digital/advertising/analytical trends and platforms with an eye toward incorporating new ideas and emerging tools to further advance our agency and clients.
  • Gather and present analytics and utilize findings to refine social media and ad strategy for our agency and clients.
  • Participate in business development; create and present internal and public-facing business development content, pitch prospects, close new marketing/digital business.
  • Guide and manage an internal marketing team, utilizing agency resources to the optimal degree to achieve consistent success for clients
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in marketing, communications, new media, journalism or related field. (Higher education experience preferred).
  • Around five-to-seven years of professional experience in both creating engaging content across a variety of social media channels and managing a social media calendar with clear benchmarks and demonstrable achievements.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills—with evidence of good storytelling ability. Someone who can run programs on digital platforms with the versatility to engage multiple audiences as evidenced by strong writing samples.
  • Impeccable interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage priorities and projects effectively.
  • Ability to work outside traditional work week, as needed.
