Performs administrative duties in support of a Championship Catering advertising/sales functions.Obtain all information on catering bookings and enter them into the Caterease catering program in a timely manner.Responsible for adjusting catering BEO's as needed and closing them in the system to allow them to be billed on a weekly basis. Meets with catering clients to assist booking their events. Enters all catering Banquet Event Orders into catering program. At the conclusion of the event closes the event into catering program allowing event to be billed. Provides clients with menu's, pricing and availability of catering services for their events. Meets with Executive Chef and/or Assistant Director to help develop specialized menus for clients on a as need basis.General Responsibilities
Under close supervision, performs routine administrative tasks related to advertising and sales processes.Responds to customer inquiries and may assist with providing quotes, terms and conditions, and drafting contracts.Distributes bills and contracts, processes payments, and distributes funds to appropriate account.Processes documents into the appropriate university database and verifies that information is correct.Prepares reports of advertising and sales figures.Regularly conveys various product/service and/or advertising options to potential customers and answers basic questions about policies and procedures.QualificationsEDUCATIONRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)SKILLSRequiredProficient communication skillsMaintains a high degree of professionalismDemonstrates time management and priority setting skillsDemonstrates a high commitment to qualityWorking Conditions / DemandsThis role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus.
