POSITION SUMMARYAs a
Junior Graphic Designer , you will be working closely with other members of the design team and department director to meet the needs of the department. Your main duties include producing designs for various mediums including digital and print, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring deadlines are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned.Collaborate with other members of the Midlab creative teamMaintain and update existing design files as requiredUnderstand and follow a brand's style guideCreating and editing product photography for use in print and digital mediaUse design templates to build out product labelsPrepare design files for final print and digital formatsReview all work for errorsWork with and interpret technical documents for use in packaging designEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCERequired:
Associate's Degree (AA) in Graphic Design or a related field of study from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree (BA or BFA) in Graphic Design or a related field of study from a 4-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIESWorking knowledge of Graphic Design software in a Windows environment. The employee is required to have skills and abilities in the following areas:Use of Adobe CS products including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe AcrobatUse of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointMust possess a basic knowledge of the print process.Strong organizational skills, keen eye for detail, and ability to manage multiple projects at onceStrong communication skills both written and verbal
