Join us as a Communication Desk Assistant 2, where you'll play a vital role in supporting Southern Company's internal and external communication efforts. In this dynamic position, you'll collaborate closely with our Public Safety Awareness department to ensure effective communication strategies and seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:Coordinate schedules for safety programs and events, ensuring optimal participation and successful execution.Log and analyze customer surveys to gather valuable insights and enhance communication strategies.Assist in the creation and distribution of informative mailers, newsletters, and digital content to stakeholders.Monitor and manage communication tools such as Outlook, phone systems, and online platforms, providing timely assistance and support.Attend and assist with vendor events, representing Southern Company with professionalism and enthusiasm.Create and maintain dashboard reports to track communication effectiveness and performance metrics.Facilitate invoice processing and budget tracking for communication initiatives, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Support training and logistical arrangements, contributing to the development and success of our team.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Marketing, or related field.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and clarity.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations.Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and building positive relationships.
