Job Description
The successful Quality Assurance Specialist candidate will have solid experience with testing websites in multiple browsers and mentor other team members on best practices, methods, and use of proprietary internal tools. The QA Specialist will be assigned to multiple projects within a team, be an active contributor in a collaborative team environment, and be passionate about the quality of our work, our clients, and our culture.
Responsibilities:You will run functional tests, identify defects, enter bugs into tracking system and validate bug fixesYou will manage the QA process for project teamsYou will assist QA team members in remote offices, and provide them proper information/instructions to do their QA tasksYou will support data validation testing and work with project leadershipYou will develop test plans, test cases, and QA testing estimatesYou will monitor project compliance to standards, guidelines, and requirementsYou will verify that project documentation is sufficiently detailed to support development of QA materialsYou will help coordinate test environments and equipmentYou will perform integration, functionality, system, regression, acceptance testing using manual methods and testing toolsYou will perform database/MySQL queries and API testingYou will maintain and run UI & API automated test scriptsYou will provide detailed verification of product content and presentationYou will search out new technologies and processes to improve QA functionsYou will perform administration of testing and QA toolsYou will mentor others in the use of testing and QA processesYou will report into the Promotions QA Analyst Team LeadQualifications
2-4 years of experience in the following:
Automation UI or API toolsFormal software test methods and Quality Assurance programsPrepare formal test plans, test cases and bug reportingFormal testing techniques such as regression, integration, and usabilityTesting experience in latest desktop and mobile browsersSQL experience with command line and GUI interface
Experience with bug tracking tools such as JiraExperience creating test plans using test case management tools such as TestRailAgile/Scrum experienceExperience with Windows Office SuiteFamiliarity navigating SQL and using Automated Test TechniquesPrioritize projects in a given day based on timing and urgency
Additional Information
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $59,000k-$96,025k. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. Our incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
