POSITION PURPOSE / IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION
This is a specialist level position, which provides support for library computers and software. Work is performed independently, as a team, and under the supervision of the Library Services Coordinator (Automation Services). This position may require some evening and weekend hours and to be on-call for evening and weekend emergencies. Incumbent must be available to work evening or weekend hours as needed.
The full salary range for this position is stated above. The starting range of pay is dependent on qualifications and experience of each individual candidate. The City of Westminster has a Multilingual Stipend Program to encourage and reward benefited employees who are conversationally fluent in languages other than English. Benefited employees have the opportunity to test their language proficiency skills and qualify for a bi-weekly stipend that will vary based on the employee's level of proficiency and usage.

Keeping social media and mobile technology up-to-dateProviding access to online library databasesCustomizing existing pages and launching new library web pages as needed.Creating graphics and writing, editing, proofing new web content.Communicating details about policy changes or new services to staff and the publicWriting, editing, and decoding HTML and CSS.2. Understanding of all aspects of the ILS and associated modulesCollaborating with staff to make improvements or changes to the ILS as necessary or requiredWorking with the ILS vendor on necessary changes, perform troubleshooting, or implement new modules3. Provides:
Research, testing, customization, and implementation of new online services and software.Support for library technology, including hardware, software, and services for library staff and patronsAssistance and support for other Automation Services projects and staff as neededAutomation Services emergency supportSupport for library meeting rooms for both staff and the publicTraining, including:
