USD 58,400.00 - 87,600.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $58,400.00 - $87,600.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. What You'll Do
In this role, you'll get to think creatively about event planning and programming; you will also get to travel to different locations to bring these ideas to life. You will:
- Participate in the development and execution of client hospitality events and programs.
- Come up with original ideas for events that will give guests unforgettable and fun experiences.
- Develop event strategies while working closely with executive and sales leadership teams, external agencies, clients, and partners on pre- and post-event campaigns.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, their representatives and Cox companies.
- Outline event details and specifics, including payment structure, room block management, food and beverage, public room rental, exhibit hall fees, incremental and affiliate revenue streams and master billing process.
- Help oversee the budget related to hospitality costs.
- Coordinate executive-level travel, meeting, and entertainment arrangements.
- Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends to evaluate issues and make improvements.
- Travel to determined events.

Who You Are/ Qualifications
You're upbeat, friendly, and professional in whatever you do.
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years of experience in hospitality or events. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years' experience; or 6 years' experience in a related field.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Proven experience producing high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Experience negotiating and building partnerships with vendors.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and pay attention to detail.
- The ability to travel at least 40% and work certain evenings and weekends.
Preferred:
- Degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
