Contribute to the set-up, operation and strike of all audiovisual sets. Ensure the maximum in client service, operational efficiency and profitability levels.Operations ManagementManages the daily floor activities and workflow of technicians to ensure that all equipment and services are delivered on time, in good working condition and as specified by clients and the hotel.Manages inventory control procedures to maintain proper inventory levels while also maintaining safety, security and quality assurance of equipment.Attend key meetings within the hotel including BEO and pre-productions meetings as needed.Ensures that billing is reviewed and approved by clients, and advises the Director and/or Experiential Event Producer of any potential challengesEnsures adaption and implementation of the Experiential Method.Review quotes and provides recommendations for the cost efficiencies by the companys standard operating procedures.Customer ServiceProvides outstanding customer services by establishing excellent working relationships with internal and external clients, team members, neighboring Five-Star locations and all vendors. Meet with guests onsite to ensure that their needs are met, and the equipment setup is working properly.Portrays a polished, professional image according to the guidelines in the Employee Guide and/or hotel standards and ensures the team adheres to the same standards.Supervises and mentors' operational staff to ensure client satisfaction and revenue maximization via onsite perfecting.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide outstanding customer serviceSignificantly contribute to the effective management of day-to-day operations according to company proceduresTimely and accurate set-up and strike of equipment for client functions according to company guidelinesEffectively manage the sub-rental of equipment to ensure client need and office profitabilityManage on-site inventory according to company standardsContinually increase audiovisual skills and knowledgeMaximize revenue potentialActively maintain and cultivate positive public relations with Hotel accountMaintain positive employee relationsEffectively utilize the company's business softwareEnsure client billing is completed accurately and on-timeMaintaining a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics and image of self, as well as subordinatesOther DutiesOther related duties as required or assignedQualificationsPlanning Skills - able to effectively plan aheadOrganization Skills - ability to manage multiple projects and tasksProblem Analysis - ability to breakdown problems and find solutionsStrong customer focusStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExperience RequiredMinimum of 2 years experience in the audiovisual industryAdvanced knowledge and experience with audiovisual setups and strikesExceptional customer service or hospitality experience requiredValid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required to operate company vehicleCertification in audiovisual technology or related courses (preferred)Required Technical Skills (Minimum)Audio - microphones, speakers, sound systems, channel mixers, etc.Video - LCD, LED, projectors, screens, monitors, etc.Lighting - GOBO, gels, uplighting, basic lighting kits, stage lighting, etc.Computers - advanced knowledge on PC and Mac software
