Overview
Reporting to the Research Accelerator manager, you will assist with technical writing projects that are strategic to both INL and its national Cyber Informed Engineering (CIE) strategy. You will focus on assisting senior technical advisors and program managers with authoring and editing of critical deliverables to nationally recognized efforts. Activities and responsibilities may include:
• Collaboration with Cybersecurity Experts – Includes building rapport, simplifying messages, and formalizing content into a variety formats (e.g., e-letters, online, articles, and reports).
• Research, integration, editing, and authorship of technical publications that ultimate support a future book focused on Critical Function Assurance against all hazards – cyber, physical, climate.
• Research, integration, editing, and authorship of materials supporting variety of CIE guidelines and recommendations for future technical standards.
• Editorial – Proofreads and edits proposals, white papers, slides, and other written communications aimed at a variety of audiences, including the laboratory’s senior leadership and external partners.
• Outcomes – Reviews action items with partners, identifies expectations related to team, communications with action owners, and tracks actions to completion.
This team works a remote, 9x80 schedule.
