Benefits include:Medical, Dental and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off (vacation, holidays and sick days) and Medical Paid Time OffRetirement Plans (401K with up to 6% match)Earned Quarterly Bonus ProgramEducation Reimbursement ProgramDiscount for medically necessary procedures performed at Mountain View Hospital and Idaho Falls Community HospitalPlease note benefits are based on eligibility DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepares compounds and dispenses medications, chemotherapy, and other high alert intravenous medications upon physician's orders.Oversees daily pharmaceutical inventory stocking, restocking and management using automated dispensing devices; assists with processing patient charge tickets.Maintains clean and safe operation of biological safety cabinets.Oversees inventory of medications including performing routine cycle counts of drug inventory, rotating stock and pulling outdated medications.Assists pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and staff as needed.Attends training classes, programs, and departmental meetings.Manages supply ordering, and maintains supplies in all medication areas, ensuring all areas are fully stocked.Adheres to

regulations, appropriately prepares IV compounds, and maintains necessary competencies.Appropriately cleans sterile areas and appropriately documents.Responsible for ordering clinical supplies for the pharmacy, infusion area and clinic; reconciles invoices.Problem solves operational issues within the departmentPerforms other duties as assigned.ABOUT MOUNTAIN VIEW:Mountain View Hospital and our 29 affiliate clinics are committed to providing compassionate, cutting edge care to our patients. Must possess an active Pharmacy Technician license from the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy.Experience: Training equivalent to one year beyond high school; supplemented with two (2) years of related experience.Equipment/Technology: Ability to use hospital information systems, automated dispensing devices and operate basic computer functions and software.Language/Communication: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute doses, volumes, and rates from a given order. Mental Capabilities: Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Interpersonal: Ability to work well with others, and to deal effectively with all types of people.
