Overview
Recruit contractors, engineering firms, consultants, and distributors as trade allies within the Commercial & Industrial Programs.
Foster strong relationships with trade allies to increase the number and scale of submitted projects.
Develop projects directly with our client's customers and keep Business Customer Solutions Representatives informed on project progress.
Represent our client at industry events and engage with stakeholders.
Oversee projects submitted by customers and trade allies, ensuring timely completion.
Collaborate with Project Coordinators to gather necessary information/documentation for project closure.
Conduct outbound calls to meet energy saving targets and manage field time effectively with customer or trade ally visits.
Develop and deliver program presentations to drive project activity.
Respond to customer inquiries and concerns via phone, email, or in person to facilitate project completion.
Provide energy efficiency advice and assistance to building owners, property managers, and facility engineers.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the program's strategic direction and identify on-site opportunities for energy efficiency.
Discuss technical aspects of energy-consuming equipment with stakeholders.
Enter data into spreadsheets and databases to determine energy savings and manage ongoing projects.
Maintain a professional appearance and build rapport with customers and trade allies.
Prepare written summary reports for customers and the Program Manager.
Collaborate with teams on continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Skills: Ability to communicate technical jargon effectively to individuals with varying levels of expertise.
Ability to multitask and transition between tasks efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Team player with a positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
Physical ability to conduct site visits, including standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, etc.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Desired Skills: Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or equivalent.
Certified Energy Auditor (Commercial) designation.
Experience in Commercial or Industrial energy efficiency, technical sales, B2 B, or construction industry sales.
Experience & Education Minimums: Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical field OR 5+ years' experience in sales, account management, or similar.
1+ years' experience working with energy efficiency or energy-efficient products with a utility, government, non-profit, or public agency.
