Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Cross-functional collaboration with Product Designers, Product Managers, Voice of the Customer, Research, and Brand Strategists to help customers understand how to make the most of their TV-viewing experienceDevelop concise, easy-to-understand, and practical solutions that delight customersRapidly iterate alongside Designers, producing compelling and intuitive copywriting solutions for everything from low-fidelity wireframes through high-fidelity mockups and prototypesAttend Design Reviews, contributing feedback that informs the overall user experienceConduct user tests, research, surveys to capture and understand real users’ motivations, goals, and pain points; and then help conduct research to evaluate how well your UX writing helps customers understandDig into qualitative insights and social media feedback to points of confusion for customersPresent your work to various stakeholders, explaining your creative process and how your final solutions align with the product goalsConduct end-to-end audits of our current products and deliver improvements to our voice and tone that aligns with the overall BrandInform how our Brand voice comes to life in various ways in our product experienceEvangelize and advance great UX copywriting and customer-centricity throughout the organizationCollaborate with Marketing to develop a content strategy for our .com experiences that helps them find the TV package that’s right for them
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
3+ years of UX Copywriting experience at consumer-focused product companies with a track record of shipping improved copywriting that demonstrably improved the user experience
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong writing and communication skills and clean command over information hierarchyAbility to communicate creative decisions clearly and effectively across all functions and levels of the organizationEagerly seeks out feedback, skill development, and opportunities to be coachedExperience driving the writing process end to end and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to discover the solutions that exceed user expectationsSees customer problems as opportunities and obsesses over finding the best solutionExperience working within a product team focused on .com or app experiencesOnline portfolio that shows clear copywriting that yielded results, strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skillsExperience developing content strategy for a Video Consumption and/or Shop/Buy (e-commerce) experience a plusExperience personally conducting user testing and research is a huge plusPassion for digital video, streaming, and TV industries also a huge plus
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/YearBenefits

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
