About your compensation
Compensation for this position starts at $58,500, and with demonstrated experience and qualifications, candidates may earn up to $65,000.
About Your Work Day
Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and enhance audience engagement.Plan, execute, and manage all digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, display, retargeting, and email marketing.Establish and execute a paid digital marketing strategy to distribute content, working closely with the Social Media and Content Manager.Work across the organization to align Chautauqua Institution’s digital presence, including e-commerce strategies.Maintain consistent brand messaging across all paid digital marketing. Assist in reviewing and publishing all website updates to ensure accurate content.Identify, analyze, and measure trends and content to assess how well it’s performing and optimize user experience.Prepare reports and analytics on the overall performance of various marketing campaigns, including ROIs and KPIs.Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies and marketing techniques.Stay up to date on the latest digital marketing trends and implement them in Chautauqua Institution’s marketing campaigns.About Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Education
Bachelor's degree in marketing or similar field or equivalent experienceExperience
1-3 years experience in digital marketing through internships or previous employment is preferred.Strong sense of creativity, imagination, and innovation.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other departments.In-depth knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices.Ability to analyze consumer metrics, reports, and trends.Strong project management and managerial skills.Ability to build out the best patron experience through a digital marketing funnel, including email campaign journeys.Understanding of website analytics tools and Google Tag Manager.Proficiency in photo and video editing software (preferred).Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Mailchimp (preferred).
About the Referral Program
Chautauqua Institution’s Referral Bonus Program is a talent solution to recruit, develop, and retain a diverse workforce that encompasses all the skills and experience necessary to deliver on our goals and objectives. Chautauqua Institution will provide a $500 referral bonus (less taxes) for active employees referring a new candidate who is hired and remains employed for at least 90-days from the first physical date of work. In the case of seasonal positions working less than 6-months, the new candidate must remain actively employed for at least 30-days from the first physical date of work and until the closing date of the season. The closing date of the season is the last Sunday in August.
About Your Schedule
The Digital Marketing Coordinator will average 35 hours per week with a periodic increase of working hours (approximately 50 hours per week) required based on business needs in pre-operation and operating seasons, specifically May–August.
This position will be based in Chautauqua Institution’s home office in Southwestern New York. Qualified candidates may also be considered for hybrid or telework.
Occasional travel is required to various professional events, conferences, and training using personal or occasionally rental vehicles. Travel predominantly within the region in an approximate 100-mile radius. Self-coordination of business travel and occasional flights is required.
