Key Position Details:
This position will serve in a dual practice capacity, 0.5FTE as a Neurohospitalist and 0.5FTE General Neurology Outpatient practice at Cambridge Medical Center.
Schedule would average 7 Days shifts (10 hour shifts) in a row every 4th week and 9 clinic days per month.
Outpatient Practice Opportunity:
Clinic time and general outpatient neurology practice focused on serving the north metro, based out of Cambridge, MN
Cambridge Medical Centeris a combined clinic and hospital providing comprehensive care to the 30000 residents of Isanti County and the surrounding areas.
Neurohospitalist location opportunities:
We have three large hospital campuses in the Twin Cities metro:
- Abbott Northwestern Hospital, South Minneapolis (Comprehensive Stroke Center)
- United Hospital, St. Paul (Comprehensive Stroke Center)
- Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids Campus (Thrombectomy capable)
Our Physicians are assigned to a main campus, with the ability to pick-up shifts across the facilities. Teleneurology is also a part of our Program.
**Ability to pick-up additional Neurohospitalist shifts at addition to the primary schedule.

Job Description:
Principle Responsibilities
- Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.

- Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management.
- Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or workflows.
- May participate in peer review and quality assurance.
Job Requirements
- MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training requiredBE/BC with ABMS or AOA required
- Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable
