Job Summary
We are hiring a Manager of Revenue Planning & Analysis within the Business Performance team. This role is a key contributor to the successful completion of the annual budget and monthly forecasts by ensuring it meets the requirements of the company in terms of achieving stated financial and operating objectives. The position will report to the Senior Director of Revenue Planning and Analysis.
The Revenue Planning Growth Manager will be responsible for obtaining the data necessary to update numerous revenue and stat models. Data accuracy and integrity are the main focuses of this position. Changes impacting the data resulting from new offers and/or product enhancements will have to be carefully tracked and communicated to the team.
Responsibilities
Reporting and Analysis
• Oversee the quantification of revenue growth for both new and existing customers, managing diverse revenue growth components
• Manage multiple revenue growth models, including those for new customers and existing customer base management
• Report on revenue growth variances to the executive leadership team, offering meaningful analysis and suggestions for improving performance
• Develop processes to manage growth drivers at the regional level, linking activity to the P&L
• Create a streamlined process for ingesting forecast and budget assumptions from cross-functional departments
• Review revenue growth drivers and investigate/explain variances to plan. Develop in-depth analysis that provides action plans to improve results
• Prepare offer sizing, business cases, and track the performance of new initiatives
• Develop ad-hoc reporting as needed
Budgeting & Forecasting
• Assist Senior Director with the following:
o Preparation of financial and statistical growth projections / forecast plans and budgets
o Compile monthly risk analysis, variance analysis
• Partner with Sales & Product Management teams as well as Customer Experience and Growth teams to obtain assumptions related to revenue growth
• Assist team in developing an effective reporting structure to track and explain the financial performance
Qualifications
• 10+ years’ experience in financial planning & analysis or business performance fields preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge required
• Experience with collaborating in a cross functional environment.
• Experience with SQL and relational database management systems strongly preferred
• Superior organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to analyze large amounts of data, develop, and modeling for ad-hoc analysis - with understanding of revenue planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Effective written and oral communication with all levels of management
• Foster the motivation and development of a team of 1 to 2 staff members.
• MBA preferred

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $102,816.00 - $168,912.00 / year. The rate/Range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
