Come build with us!Role and ResponsibilitiesSpecific Job Duties: Work as part of a custom System IP team and be responsible for the functional verification of various blocks in Coherent Interconnect. Work with architects and designers to build verification environments and test plans. Craft functional verification coverage strategy to ensure complete test suite implementation. Develop assertions and checks to optimize isolation time and produce meaningful failing signatures. Analyze failing tests to root cause along, working with RTL and reference modeling teams. Provide input on Architectural and Micro-Architectural specifications for testability and accuracy. Examine code coverage results, identifying exclusions and improving stimulus. Document key milestone closures by meeting phase gate pass rates, coverage quality, and other quality metrics.Skills and QualificationsMinimum Requirements: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the Job offered or in a related occupation.Requires 24 months of experience involving the following:1. Verilog, System Verilog, VHDL;2. UVM, OVM, VMM;3. Test bench development;4. Test and verification plan creation;5. Synopsis VCS or equivalent verification tool;6. Verification of unit-level blocks or full chip;7. Code coverage analysis and closure; and8. Monitoring and debugging test failures.Total RewardsAt Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $162,800 and $182,800. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.Samsung employees have access to benefits including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), free onsite lunch, employee purchase program, tuition assistance (after 6 months), paid time off, student loan program, wellness incentives, and many more.
