Instructional Designer
to design and develop digital learning content for CAIs business practices. They will utilize eLearning development skills and instructional design best practices to fit the needs of our learners within a fast-paced, continuous delivery environment. Additionally, they should have demonstrated experience in corporate customer-facing eLearning design and development, especially designing and developing videos, and building multimedia assets.This position will be

(Possible that the position gets the contract period extended and/or becomes a permanent CAI employee)What Youll DoCollaborate closely with senior instructional designer to design and develop videos, video vignettes, and interactive eLearning from ideation through scripting, storyboarding and development as needed; ensure end-user adoption and a high impact learner experienceCreate graphics, visual aids, and learning marketing materials to support the development of content based in the eLearning modalityAssist in conducting SME interviews and collaborate with SMEs on content collection and learning asset designDesign, develop and implement processes and procedures to adequately assess the effectiveness of training, skill acquisition and retention of knowledgeCollaborate to create, implement, and maintain processes and procedures for effective knowledge management, version control, and communication strategy for training materialsCollaborate with multiple SMEs in multiple specialty areasActively seek opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learningWhat You'll NeedRequired:1 year of experience in Corporate Instructional DesignBachelors degree in Learning Design, Learning Science, Instructional Design, or relevant field preferredExperience supporting projects with defined objectives, deliverables, and timelines; proven ability to work creatively and independently while driving projects to successComfortable stepping into Projects that are passed the analysis phase that will focus more on Development and less on DesignIntermediate level proficiency/experience developing videos from storyboards and scripts using Vyond and CamtasiaIntermediate level proficiency/experience using Articulate 360 suite to build eLearning solutionsExperience in building engaging visuals, implementing various tools and graphics to tell a story, establishing templates all within company brand standardsIndependent and resourceful with the ability to take initiative and work through ambiguityWorking knowledge of instructional design models, learning methodologies, evaluation, and adult learning principlesSome familiarity with SCORM, online learning, learning technology, instructional, graphic design, and/or web design or development skills for technical contentAbility to communicate both technical and non-technical material in a readily understandable mannerPreferred:LMS authoring/publishing experience a plus, but not requiredPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorReasonable Accommodation StatementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 8111.Equal Employment Opportunity Policy StatementIt is the policy of CAI not to discriminate against any employee or applicant due to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability or being a protected veteran.
