The Department of Biosystems Engineering at Auburn University is seeking candidates for a
Multimedia Specialist
to design and maintain websites for two special projects.
This is a limited term appointment funded from external sources. Continuation of employment is contingent upon availability of funds.

Essential Functions
Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Design and maintain websites for two USDA NIFA funded projects.Plan and implement website content and graphics that mirror the overall brand for the two projects.Collaborate with project manager and project directors to design and create educational modules.Provide branding and graphic design expertise and photography support that align with College of Engineering and Auburn University branding portfolios when needed for both projects.Work with College of Engineering communication specialists to meet University guidelines for branding.Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Level I:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or related field; no experience required.
Level II:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or related field and 2 years of experience relevant to the position.
Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications
Minimum Skills and Abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and independent skillsMust be capable of creating high-quality graphicsProven experience in the development and upkeep of visually appealing, well-crafted websites is essentialMinimum Technology Skills
Proficient in design software (e.g. Indesign, Adobe Illustrator)
