Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Designing the overall layout and aesthetic for websites. Duties include coding webpages or entire websites, meeting with stakeholders to review website templates or refine their designs and running tests to preview layouts and website features. Create visually appealing and intuitive website designs from concepts to completion using computer software to continue and evolve our mission. These concepts will be adapted to websites and social media platforms. Maintain, update, and redesign websites and platforms as needed and can develop solutions and media plans. This individual would be experienced in all facets of web design including design, coding, and maintenance.
COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATIONS:
Works closely with all departments necessary to ensure that the processes, programs, and services are accomplished in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with CHG policies and procedures and in compliance with applicable state and federal.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with each department so they can translate the department's thoughts into a visually appealing design. Responsible for turning that design into a functional website. Other responsibilities include:Integrate graphic elements, images, and icons into website designs.Creating mock-ups of the website for the stakeholder's approvalEnsure consistency in branding and visual identity across all digital platforms. Coding the website's navigationFixing any functionality issues, including the removal of "dead links"Updating and maintaining the websiteMaking backup files of the websiteDesign websites that are responsive and compatible with various devices and browsers.Using user feedback to identify and correct problems with website.Testing and improving the design of the websites.Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.Proactively recommend design improvements and optimizations.Create, schedule, and manage social media posts across all platforms.Be a strong advocate for excellent user experience and recommend solutionsInspect and evaluate all finished products before they "Go Live" on the website and afterMeet established deadlines for assigned projects and proactively inform stakeholders of project status and updatesIdentify and improve areas of the website with SEO-rich contentProduce monthly analytics and SEO reports for web and social media platformsEstablishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in degree Graphic Design, Art, or related field with equivalent experience.Experience/Skills:
2 or more years of web design experienceProficiency in front-end development 1+ years of HTML and CSS experience preferredProven experience as a Website Designer or similar roleAt least 2 years' experience in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)Creative thinking with a keen eye for aesthetics and detailsAbility to use custom coding without templatesExcellent communication skills and ability to draw meaningful conclusions.SEO/SEM highly desiredExperience with Copywriting and Quality Assurance Testing desiredExperience with Sitefinity Content Management Software desiredBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredHealthcare experience preferredPhysical Requirements:
Minimum 20 lb. Lifting.May be required to work evenings and/or weekends.
