Job Summary
Tutulu, LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the Audio Visual Engineer position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
As the Audio Visual Engineer, the individual will assist in overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of all audio-visual technologies and services within the organization. This includes designing and maintaining cutting-edge audio-visual systems, and collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless execution of AV projects. The AV Engineer will assist in playing a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's communication, collaboration, and presentation capabilities through the strategic use of audio-visual technologies.
Skills / Experience Required
(Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned):3 years' work experience of lead VTC operations & Visual Information/Audio Visual operationsProvide AV support for presentations in the Kyser Conference Room. Provide pre- and post-event AV support to include but not limited to, opening, and closing the Kyser Conference Room at the beginning and end of each business day. Kyser Auditorium supports approximately 60 events per month, to include off site Public Address (PA) support for podium(s), microphones, and microphone stands, mixer, amp, 6 speakers, 6 speaker stands and support cables to connect everythingProvide support in loaning out government owned lecterns, microphones, and portable sound systemsProvide audio and sound products, recordings, playback, duplication, and distribution ensuring copyright laws, regulations, and procedures are not violated. Recording shall meet the highest professional standards following SMPTE, ATSC, and NTSC standards, rules, and guidelines. A test recording shall be made before each event. The composition and shooting quality shall meet professional Video Production standards. Colors shall be in balance to accepted industry standards and a sharp focus of the subject for maximum clarity and use of the rule of thirds for composition of the shotProvide sound reinforcement services for functions such as retreats, retirements, change of command ceremonies, and parade practices in accordance with the customer's scheduleProvide VTC support in the TAMC Kyser AuditoriumProvide off-site PA system supportAV services often require performance of services outside of core hoursProvide simple troubleshooting for customers who trouble tickets requiring assistance with audio visual equipment. Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
