Senior Manager/Staff Data Scientist on Advanced Measurement Methodology
to shape the future of our organization through data driven insights with solid methodology foundation.Location: San Bruno, CA; Bentonville, AR; Hoboken, NJHybrid in office environmentResponsibilitiesPerform as a measurement thought leader with advanced understanding of media mix, attribution, randomized control testing and other lift solutions for both online and in-store/offline channels.Research and develop cutting-edge media measurement solutions using advanced statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.Lead team members to deliver impactful analytical projects for stakeholders.Perform hands-on modeling and complex analyses using SQL & Python.Present measurement insights to clients and explain complex modeling approaches in simple terms and develop compelling narratives that connect modeling results with business problems.Build and enhance models to determine the impact of marketing tactics and optimal levels of media budgets.Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline data science solutions.Minimum Qualifications7+ years of relevant industry experience in positions with a focus on statistics, data science, measurement, marketing strategy & analytics.Experienced in building media mix, multi-touch attribution models and advanced testing solutions.Proficient coding skills (Python/SQL), data visualization and database knowledge.Extensive experience with predictive and machine learning modeling algorithms.Strong communication skills to tell-a-story that provides insight into the business.Strong project management skills, including managing technical resources and multiple priorities & milestones.Proven experience and a passion for working in a fast-paced agile environment.A collaborative mindset and sense of curiosity.Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Operations Research, or related field.Preferred QualificationsExperience with complete online and in-store media tactics portfolio.Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.Experience with advertising technology platforms eCommerce, Ad servers, DSPs, DMPs, etc.PhD degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, or related field.About Walmart ConnectAt Walmart, we've led retail for over 60 years by keeping our customers' needs at the center of everything we do.
