ExpediteInfoTech (EIT) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated SharePoint Specialist with Drupal experience to join our new 5-year contract supporting a Federal Government client. This 100% REMOTE role involves developing, maintaining, and updating web pages on client websites and the Engineering Directorate's SharePoint sites, including both internal and external platforms. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various client teams and external partners to ensure web content meets federal requirements, client policies, and best practices for user experience. Due to government contract requirements, we are seeking candidates who are United States Citizens or Permanent Residents, located in MD, VA, D.C., TX, NC, NJ, or FL and able to work on our W2 (salary + benefits package). (No 1099 or Corp-to-Corp inquiries will be entertained).
Responsibilities:
SharePoint Site Management :
Lead the migration of current ENG SharePoint sites to SharePoint Online, assessing user experience and architectural needs.Develop and maintain SharePoint web-based applications, integrating them with Microsoft Teams and OneDrive.Support post-migration activities, include training ENG staff on SharePoint utilization, updating permissions, troubleshooting, and providing recommendations for future enhancements.Web Development and Maintenance :
Develop, maintain, and update web pages, ensuring compliance with client and federal requirements.Participate in meetings with the Office of Legislative and Public Affairs (OLPA) and the Web Implementation Group (WIG) to adopt best practices for web content and design.Collaborate with the Engineering Directorate, OLPA, and other relevant teams to design and update web pages.Optimize web pages for search engines (SEO) and improve user experience based on web analytics.Training and Compliance :
Provide training for client staff on navigating and utilizing websites and web applications effectively.Ensure all web content and applications comply with federal laws and client policies, including accessibility and security standards.Knowledge Management :
Establish and maintain a knowledge base to track website and SharePoint site updates, maintenance activities, enhancements, and end-user support.Requirements:
United States Citizen or Permanent Resident who is able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.8+ years of professional IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a SharePoint Developer/Administrator and 1+ years as a Web Developer.
Expertise in SharePoint site creation, management and migration from on-prem to SharePoint online.Hands on experience with SharePoint Designer, ShareGate and SharePoint Online.Hands on experience with the PowerPlatform, including Power Apps, PowerAutomate, and PowerBIProven experience in web development using Drupal.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (5 additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree).Strong communication, collaboration skills and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
