The Digital Campaign Strategist is responsible for meeting client and Cox Automotive goals through media planning, identifying target audiences, assessing key performance indicators, and collaboration with internal teams to optimize campaign performance. This team member will play a pivotal role in growing the business, streamlining fulfillment, and improving the customer and client experience.
Ideal candidates are innovative, highly organized, detail-oriented, analytics driven and multi-media savvy. The Digital Campaign Strategist will have a firm grasp of the internal and external touchpoints from end to end, will steer the Cox Automotive Marketing Partnerships narrative, and drive highly effective campaigns.
Primary Duties / Key Responsibilities:
- Drive value for our consumers, clients, and Cox Automotive.
- With integrity, maintain strong, collaborative, productive working relationships across:
- Internal, cross-functional teams to ensure media strategies are delivered and goals/client needs are met.
- Sales partners
- Account Management and the AXO team.
- Partner with clients to help create a seamless communication process.
- Strategize with Sales from pre-launch and throughout the campaign, including their Analytics, Account Management and Audience Extension partner in strategy discussions.
- Develop a media plan, including objectives, tactics, relevant target audiences, media mix, and media flowcharts with relevant KPIs to meet client goals.
- Uses analytics to drive market/performance insights and utilize metrics / dashboards to develop media recommendations to deliver on client needs.
- Develop and maintain launch plans with timelines, milestones, owners, and deadlines.
- Drive fulfillment of the launch plan and ensure proper execution of each campaign.
- Develop agendas and host internal kickoff calls, client kickoff calls, weekly status, and ad hoc stand ups.
- Monitor overall campaign health. Analyze high-level performance data, identify opportunities across channels, and collaborate with the Account Management and Audience Extension team to optimize campaigns.
- Drive timely launches.
- Manage risk of client churn.
- Track pricing, budgeting, and overall performance throughout the campaign across media channels and tactics.
- Coordinate and facilitate regular performance reviews and QBRs in partnership with Sales.
- Collaborate with Sales and Editorial to identify and manage content needs for applicable campaigns.
- Other duties as needed or required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years experience in a related field
- Experience in media planning, campaign strategy, or account management experience at an ad agency or digital publisher.
- High degree of analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong business acumen, stays updated on industry trends, emerging digital tools, and client initiatives.
- Proven organizational and project management skills.
- Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional meetings, keep attendees engaged, identify action items, draw accountability, and launch campaigns on time.
- Fundamental comprehension of 'media math': how to apply calculations of audience size, rates, and budget allocation to estimated performance outcomes.
- Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to process data and communicate the story behind the numbers.
USD 106,000.00 - 176,500.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $106,000.00 - $176,500.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
