JOB SUMMARY
Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between each Work Centers throughout the manufacturing process. Key responsibility is to satisfy or fulfill parts shortages in the production floor for all open job orders as per production schedule.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES

Provide status of backorder parts required for production on open job orders on daily shortage meeting with planning and productionCoordinate with Purchasing, Planning and Support departments in expediting parts shortagesMonitor rejection, scrap and rework of parts and perform necessary actions to place part from inventory or generate replacement job order or requisition to make or buy the partPay backorder in the production floor from inventory and update pull kits with the correct lot number to maintain traceability of the parts issued to the jobsWork with Production, Quality, Planning and Engineering in resolving material problem and issues during the manufacturing processPerform other duties as assigned to ensure success of the project and the companyMost possess good verbal and written communication skillsAdhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics codeProvide protection of products awaiting shipping. Follow packaging instructions and in accordance with supplier/customer requirements. Prepare/process shipping documentation.GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS - Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferredExperience:
A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of direct experiencePosition may be filled with both entry level and experienced candidatesExperience working in a teamSkills:
