ABOUT THIS ROLE Reporting to the Senior Director of Creative Development, Audible Studios is hiring an Associate Manager of Creative Management to act as an internal coordinator between executives on the creative development team.
You will have extensive experience at a large entertainment company coordinating between departments and executives, streamlining processes and being a gatekeeper and distributor of information regarding projects, partners, submissions, samples, etc., while also analyzing creative content and optimizing team productivity.
ABOUT YOU You love to tell stories and understand the impact of the spoken word.
You have experience working in entertainment, ideally in audio, but at the very least, you have a passion for the world of audio and are well-versed in the audio landscape.
You naturally connect and build strong relationships with others, and have an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
You have a strong intuition, and the ability to connect the dots, are action-oriented, entrepreneurial and adaptable, with innovative approaches and are results driven.
Most of all you are hungry to learn, grow, and operate within a team, taking on new responsibilities every day, and striving to push creative boundaries in the constantly evolving audio medium.
You are self-motivated, passionate and able to thrive in a team environment.
You have strong interpersonal skills and project management skills.
As an Associate Manager, Creative Management, you will...
- Support Senior Director of Development in developing, producing processes and managing all scripted and unscripted content across all genres - Collaborate with internal teams (BA, Marketing, Programming, etc.) to support strategy and to ensure content stakeholder objectives and deliverables are being met - Lead and manage detailed research and data when necessary for specific projects in development or concepts being considered - Coordinate needed audio materials with PR and Marketing teams as requested - Set up timely reporting mechanisms and reminders to help team members stay on top of their deliverables - Plan and execute creative management systems for the team to streamline focus towards most impactful goals - Effectively and clearly communicate intended project deliverables, and resourcing needs and create distilled reports of top priority projects ABOUT AUDIBLE Audible is the leading producer and provider of audio storytelling.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Newark, NJ, USA BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of experience in media and/or entertainment with working knowledge of content creation from development, scheduling, media requirements to providing a finished product - 3+ years of project management experience - Experience supporting a creative/production team PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor degree - Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and effectively manage competing priorities and communicate desired outcome and meet deadlines - Organized and detail-orientated with strong project management skills - Excellent oral and written communication - Have demonstrated competencies in physical and post-production - Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people both inside and outside the immediate department - Ability to collaborate and inquire with teams to solution to ideal state - Operational excellence – always looking to improve upon current systems, in order to impact efficiencies Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
