Job Overview
As a Bloomingdales Gift Registry Supervisor, you will be responsible for driving registry goals and results. You will deliver a personalized customer experience to your registrants as well as coach a team of concierges in delivering an exceptional experience. Whether in store or online, your goal is to serve as a Bloomingdales merchandise & service expert - understanding the registrants needs, guiding the customer journey as the registrant builds value to the registry, and providing support during the experience from start to finish. You will serve as a role model and lead your team by example. You will become well versed and educated in merchandise storewide with an emphasis on Home product, offering your expertise to registrants and gift givers. Building and maintaining client relationships and long-term loyalty will be a part of your everyday role.
Essential Functions
Engage and welcome customers to the Gift Registry DepartmentRole-model and deliver an exceptional and personalized experience by engaging and understanding the needs and the lifestyle of the customerBecome a product knowledge expert, understanding features and benefits of product especially in the Home Department. Be an expert on product and style and have a confident fashion voiceCommit to building customer relationships and loyalty through the maintenance of a client bookDrive loyalty program by selling both applications and enrollmentsPut customers at ease, online and in-store, through tools that allow for easier connection to build comfort and trustServe as a liaison for the registrant to our total merchandise assortment beyond registry needsManage customer interactions coming in through multiple online platformsWork in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and learn new proceduresUse technology to deliver the customer experience and build registry valueCultivate a service environment by educating consultants to adopt best practices for consistency in experienceEncourage outreach and follow-up for consistent communication with the customerDevelop and execute events in partnership with the Business ManagerMeet regularly with the Business Manager to review goals and best practices and to share observations about team performanceServe as a mentor for new hires by providing on-the-floor education and guidanceMeet or exceed registry and business goals

Physical Requirements
Requires periods of walking, standing, communicating, reaching, crouching and climbing ladders.Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions.Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs.
