Job Title: Account Communications Manager
Job Status: Full-Time

Reports To: Vice President
Amount of Travel Required: up to 25%
Work Schedule: Weekdays
Location: New York, NY – Hybrid schedule (2 days in office + as needed)
We’re looking for a communications and public relations professional who wants to build strategic content, place media stories and work with global partners for a dynamic lifestyle portfolio of wine, spirits, wellness, destination and hospitality accounts. The ideal candidate has exceptional verbal and written communications skills and approaches their work with a high attention to detail, enthusiasm and a collaborative spirit. The Account Communications Manager will work with the agency team to accomplish PR pitching and placement goals; drive digital and influencer programs; lead sponsored content campaigns; and craft client materials. The ideal candidate is outgoing, intellectually curious and highly motivated. We’re looking for this role to make a positive contribution to agency life and client relations through active participation in creative brainstorming sessions, calls, meetings and events.
Essential Functions of the Position
- Coordinate with Gregory + Vine teams to build effective external communications plans/tactics to support client business goals
- Digital, PR, influencer and partnership content leader for our lifestyle/branding division
- Strong writer able to support integrated content campaigns, including media pitching, influencer outreach, sponsored content, and owned digital platforms
- Develop and maintain relationships with key media and agency partners
- Bring new ideas and thought leadership backed by industry and competitor research
- Craft, edit, and distribute press releases and related content to accomplish client KPIs
- Support the coordination of press and influencer engagement, including one-on-one interviews, webinars, proprietary events, and press trips
- Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports to leadership team
- Manage media monitoring tools and platforms to track sentiment and content performance
- Analyze media trends and provide insights to enhance communication strategies
- Travel to client and industry events as needed
- Can-do attitude to support agency activations with logistical support as needed

- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Proven track record of meeting PR placement and client content goals
- Proactive and strategic thinker with a can-do attitude and ability to identify and generate news hooks and stories
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; able to deliver relevant presentation topics for agency and client meetings

- Familiarity with media monitoring tools and analytics

Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, English, or related
3+ years communications, public relations, or media experience is desired
Agency and/or in-house communications experience
Ability to travel up to 25% as needed for events
- Interest or experience in cultural aspects, such as language and arts a plus
