ASM Global, has an immediate opening for a Director of Marketing at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum and Allegacy Stadium at Wake Forest University.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreative Campaigns and Promotions
Directs and implements promotional campaigns for event and company exposureDevelops strategies to boost ticket sales and generate additional event revenueEstablishes and maintains relationships with university and community influencers and partnersManages and directs grassroots effortsPlans and conducts market research to identify new opportunities for venues
Digital Marketing
Oversees social media strategy and content creation across all platformsBuilds content calendar and executes targeted promotions across all digital platformsCreates, manages and continually updates website contentDevelops and manages email marketing campaign calendar, content creation and pushes out all email communication
Advertising/Media Buying
Negotiate and place media buys on behalf of a variety of clients including concerts, family events, consumer shows, comedy shows and other events as required.Manages all media assets for event campaignsDevelops advertising budgets for prospective showsPrepares invoices for event settlementsNegotiates best rates, trade and promotional agreements with media outlets
Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ASM Global's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; disciplining employees in conjunction with Human Resources; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or related field preferredMinimum of 5 years' experience in Event Marketing and/or media buying or related industry experience (i.e. advertising agency radio/tv sales) required.Skills and Abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills requiredSocial Media Skills (content creation, posting, analytics reporting, campaign development) requiredBasic understanding of demographics and media buying abilityRequires flexible schedule to cover events including nights, weekends, holidays, early mornings and extended hoursKnowledge of database software, spreadsheet, graphics and word processing software.Physical Demands
