The Senior Director Enterprise Sales exists to develop and facilitate partnership relationships that are strategically relevant for long-term business acquisition. This role will focus on leveraging the bigger Canon One portfolio to help broaden the Canon value proposition through facilitating collaboration between CMSU direct sales and other Canon Medical (such as CMI) and Canon Inc., entities. This role will also leverage the white space partnerships to achieve this end. The incumbent engages with senior leaders in National IDN Organizations and/or third-party healthcare networks that require customized and integrated solutions with dedicated sales oversight.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, influence, and sustain relationships with key Academic luminary sites, 3rd Party Accounts, and IDN decision makers to foster an in-depth understanding of customer processes that aid CMSU’s commercial activity.
Identify and map the relevant business challenges for large, complex customer organizations for the purpose of aligning product and service offerings that support customer objectives.
Access and assemble information through collaboration across enterprise cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Service and Finance to develop unique solutions to address long-term customer needs.
Develop and lead project teams as needed to foster the development of creative and customized sales approaches; Provide mentorship as necessary to drive desired outcomes.
Develop a robust network within health system accounts to establish a partnership first/sales second relationship for long-term engagement.
Routinely share insights and strategic plans with Sales Leadership to facilitate the positioning of CMSU teams to execute against plans.
Seek and promote opportunities for CMSU to improve win rates and maximize deals with strategic accounts.
Synthesize efforts and activities to achieve short and long-term sales goals.
Seek opportunities to elevate the success of the broader sales team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven ability to develop and execute a tailored strategic plan resulting in customer goal achievement.
Ability to lead and influence cross functional teams without direct functional authority.
Excellent presentation skills specifically for executive level audiences.
Proven track record of driving sales growth within large, complex, health systems.
Business and analytical skills to oversee financial and administrative areas including sales administration, financial reporting, planning and budgeting, sales support, etc.
Ability to influence and work effectively with cross functional teams within a matrix organization.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required. Ability to build relationships.
Ability to manage negotiations for large, complex, system wide standardization agreements.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement strategic plans that lead to improved business operations, profitability, and efficiency.
Build and manage a sales funnel pipeline, track leads, opportunities, and sales activities using Salesforce.com software for existing and new accounts.
Ability to provide clear and succinct reporting on sales activities, progress towards revenue goals and market feedback to a variety of audiences, including commercial leadership.
Minimum Years of Experience -15 Senior-Level sales experience.
10 years in healthcare/capital equipment sales.
Experience in the healthcare industry with increasing responsibility in a service line leadership capacity or with an innovation supplier selling into senior leadership levels preferred.
Minimum Education Level - 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education Level - Graduate Degree MBA
Base salary of $190,000 plus performance incentive with upside potential.
