Audience Services Representative
LOCATION:

HOURS:
Full-time, some evenings, weekends, and holidays required
COMPENSATION:
$22.00/hour
ABOUT THE POSITIONAmbassador Theatre Group is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our call center team to answer phones and emails for its three venues here in San Francisco: Orpheum, Golden Gate, and Curran. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, identifying customer needs, clarifying information, and researching solutions to sell tickets, do exchanges, and provide information about the theater experience. This is an on-site position which includes inbound and outbound calls, answering email inquiries, all while upholding company vision and values.

Work will take place in the BroadwaySF Contact Center located in the Orpheum Theatre Building on Market Street, San Francisco
BroadwaySF, part of the Ambassador Theatre Group, is the preeminent theatrical entertainment company in the Bay Area, bringing live entertainment experience to San Francisco’s premier venues.
High level of guest interaction requires a patient, kind, and emotionally mature candidate.
Intimate knowledge of AudienceView ticketing system and most Microsoft based software (training provided)
EXPERIENCE and SKILLS
Experience helping customers with diverse needs and personalities.
Ability to speak and understand English; second language greatly valued.
Previous box office and ticketing knowledge is considered a plus.
Ability to multitask (answer multiple phone lines, for example) while remaining calm and courteous.
Passion for and/or experience for the performing arts
COMPETENCIES
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality
Ability to quickly learn and retain information.
Strong critical thinking skills
General understanding of theatre etiquette, ticketing, seating

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILTIES
Shared responsibilities assigned weekly unless noted otherwise in the kitchen / office:
clean bathroom keys and office doorknobs,wash your own dishes or put them in the dishwasher – daily.empty dishwasher and put away dishes or start dishwasher.Wipe-down/disinfect kitchen counters and wash sink and empty drain catcher, clean microwave inside, rotation tray and outside.Refrigerator – clean out old food (6 months or older) and wipe down insides and shelves, make sure all food is labelled and with names and dates,Freezer- clean out old food (6 months or older) and wipe down inside and shelves, make sure all food is labelled and with names and dates,Refill paper towels as needed.re-order kitchen supplies as needed.
