As Saabs FAA Marketing & Sales (M&S) Lead, you will be responsible for growing Saabs FAA project portfolio. You will lead all of the external and internal activities needed to promote Saab and identify, develop, and capture new FAA business.
This may be a remote position with 2 regional activity centers: Syracuse, NY (Saab HQ) and Washington, D.C. (FAA HQ)ResponsibilitiesEstablish, develop, and maintain positive FAA and partner relationshipsNegotiate new partnerships and teaming agreementsDiscover and review information about FAA goals, future program plans, and budget to identify sales opportunities that are consistent with Saabs capabilities and aspirationsMonitor the competitive space to identify opportunities and threatsLead the development and execution of a comprehensive FAA M&S strategy and opportunity-specific capture plansServe as the primary internal champion for Saabs FAA business, promoting opportunities and garnering support from across the organizationGuide internal, cross-functional teams on FAA bid and proposal efforts by laying out the vision, writing key sections, shaping contributions, and continuously coaching team members to develop winning submissionsPromote Saabs capabilities externally at customer meetings, partner meetings, industry events, tradeshows, and conferencesWork with internal team members to generate marketing material such as press releases, advertising media, and other marketing collateralFollow Saabs progress executing existing FAA programs to uncover follow-on opportunities and advise the team on issues impacting the M&S strategyTrack and document sales activitiesContinuously improve through feedbackCompensation Range:
$154,300-$204,500The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.Skills and Experience:
Education/ExperienceBA/BS degree in marketing, business, or related engineering discipline15+ years of experienceExperience working with and selling to the FAADemonstrated track record leading multi-million dollar business capture effortsAdvanced knowledge of capture/business strategyOther RequirementsEnergetic self-starterEffective and engaging presenterWillingness to travel up to 30% in support of business development effortsMust be a U.S. citizen.
