ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:·
Research, identify, locate, and acquire materials from major image and footage vendors (such as Getty, Alamy, and Art Resource), archival and copyright houses, the Library of Congress, National Archives, libraries, private individuals, and a variety of national and international museums.·
Input and manage the information in our online database.·
Work closely and collaborate with producers, other production staff, and professors to acquire appropriate materials for studio production and multimedia applications.·
Correspond directly with Producers, Writer/Producers, Editors, Content Developers to fulfill practical, everyday production needs, such as securing permits, appearance releases, and location releases for studio and field productions as needed.·
Follow the copyright clearance process, ensuring that the company is always in compliance for multimedia productions.·
Administrative duties to track permissions, license agreements, and acquire credit lines.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES·
The Marketing Image Rights Analyst researches and acquires materials from image/footage vendors, archival and copyright houses, the Library of Congress, National Archives, libraries, international museums, etc.·
Inputs and manages information in company’s online database·
Works closely and collaborates with producers and production staff to obtain materials for studio production and multimedia applications·
Corresponds Writer/Producers, Editors, Content Developers for everyday production needs·
Follows the copyright clearance process·
Ensures the company is always compliant for multimedia productions·
Regular, dependable attendance and consistent satisfactory or above job performance·
Other related duties, as assigned
EXPERIENCE, MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, AND SOFTWARE·
Bachelor's Degree in Art, Communications, Marketing, Liberal Arts, or related field·
2+ years of direct experience in image research, acquisition, and copyright clearance, in addition to work experience in an archive, image library, or in video production·
Familiarity with graphics software (Adobe Photoshop) and hardware (slide scanner, flatbed/transmissive scanner, and digital camera)·
Ability to use basic office software applications (FileMaker Pro, Word, Excel, etc.)·
Familiarity with video software (Adobe Premier), Evolphin Zoom Digital Asset Management system, teleprompter·
Basic knowledge of production studios is a plus·
Preferred – Knowledge of LucidLink and/or Frame IO·
Preferred – Knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects)·
Preferred – Experience with emerging formats and next gen file types and technologies
