Description

The Epoch Times is hiring for its website full-time reporters across the nation to cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to political, education, school, parents’ right, and social issues. Reporters should have deep-rooted connections with the communities they cover and be able to uncover topics of national interest based on current events at the community, local, or state levels.

Duties

– Uncover topics of national interest
– Conduct interviews
– Build up a solid network of contacts
– Write both general news articles as well as in-depth articles

Skills

– Perfect English skills
– Strong writing and reporting skills
– Basic computer skills and familiarity with text editing software like Microsoft Office, Pages, etc.

Job Requirements

– College degree or above
– At least 5 years of experience in news reporting
– Solid news judgment and excellent journalism ethics
