Write Stuff Enterprises, LLC, an award-winning independent publisher of corporate history coffee table books located in Fort Lauderdale, has an immediate opening for an experienced senior editor. This is a full-time, M–F on site position that involves editing and managing long-term nonfiction book projects while working closely with the author, the subject of the book, and freelance researchers. We offer a great work environment for a responsible and detail-oriented team player. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills and be organized, focused, and adaptable to changing situations.
• Project management
• Compiling photos and captions
Prospective candidates must reside in Broward, Palm Beach, or Miami-Dade counties and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in publishing. Must have experience working with corporate liaisons and proven written and oral communications skills. Must be skilled at conducting online research. Must be a dedicated self-starter capable of meeting strict deadlines on multiple projects and working with limited supervision. Familiarity with Chicago Manual of Style preferred. Experience interviewing book subjects is a plus, but not mandatory.
