This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is located in the posted location. No relocation is offered. Reporting to the AVP of Product Design and Innovation, for Business Products, you will lead and inspire a team of 5-10 professionals in product design, UX, and research. This new discipline and organization report to the Chief Product Officer, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of product design. Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a team of 5-10 professionals in product design, UX, and research. Serve as the creative point-of-contact and project lead for UX design projects, guiding activities, strategy, and timelines with internal sponsors. Use storytelling, UX, and prototypes to convey the vision, flow, and features of the product. Collaborate with fellow UX designers, researchers, and internal teams to generate ideas and receive feedback on designs. Work with developers, project managers, and other teams to implement designs into production. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. Lead, organize, and facilitate design workshops with clients and partners as needed. Mentor junior and senior UX designers. Required Experience & Characteristics
7+ years of interaction/graphic design experience across various digital media (or equivalent). Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or an equivalent degree preferred. Strong portfolio of design and UX work with a track record of leading substantial design projects. Comfortable in an executive-facing role. Experience in concept ideation, design strategy, and digital prototyping; proficient with tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, Principle, Framer, etc. Knowledge or expertise in visual design, machine learning, mobile/web applications, messaging interfaces, illustration, or video/film production is a plus. Entrepreneurial Spirit with a Collaborative Drive; proactive leadership on projects and teamwork to improve designs. Systems thinker with a product mindset; ability to navigate complex problems and create holistic, user-centered products. Empathetic, user-centered mindset and strong communication skills; ability to tell compelling stories about work to partners and teams. Leadership and project management capabilities. Locations

The Principal UX Designer/Architect earns between $158,200 - $237,400. Starting salary may vary by geography, experience, and education/training.
