The Regional Field Marketing Manager will lead the team responsible for developing and executing the national and key market marketing plan within Florida, and will drive all local marketing programs to drive brand awareness, trial, sales, and brand relevance. The position will manage a team of Field Marketing Managers (5-7) that will help to create top of mind awareness with our consumer base. This role will report to the Senior Manager, National Consumer Engagement.
Candidates for this role must currently reside in, or very near, Miami or Ft. Lauderdale. We require candidates to have intimate knowledge of these regions due to the nature of the role, so candidates outside of these areas will not be considered.
Lead the execution of the company’s national and regional Field Marketing strategyHire, train, coach, and lead a team of Field Marketing ManagersPartner with sales leadership to identify and facilitate best in-class store execution by coordinating the marketing team to develop and execute key strategies, objectives, and tactics against key markets to achieve objectivesLead the development and execution of annual marketing plans for key priority marketsBuild and execute a regional, and key market activation plan to support business objectives and provide support for the distribution networkDrive the development and execution of regional and market-specific trade marketing programs with Trade MarketingWork with Regional Directors, and the Field Sales team to achieve regional and market level goals and objectivesDevelop relationships with key market distributors, communicate plans and brand performance, and win brand mind shareDevelop relationships with retail partners to maximize on-shelf and marketing opportunitiesWork with Senior Manager, National Consumer Engagement to set and track KPIs to evaluate field market programs’ performance, results, and impactOwn field marketing budget within region planning and tracking to ensure budgets are met and maximized across region.Maximize the activation of key market sponsorship and partnerships with consumers in the region.Utilize consumer insights and sales analytics to measure performance, track KPIs, develop key learnings, and best practices, and create initiatives that deliver on marketing and sales objectives.Lead / preside over weekly meetings, provide regular recap reports, and periodically build and present plans and decks.Ensure and execute an ongoing communication plan/process to continually monitor and communicate field marketing execution, wins, and key learnings.Create a culture that rewards effort and execution that aligns with Congo Brands core values.
Bachelor’s degree with 7 or more years of sales and marketing experience in a related roleStrong understanding of Field Marketing, non-alcoholic sampling programs, and national and market-level brand building with functional beveragesCross-functional marketing background in areas such as brand, retail, field, digital, trade marketing, events, and sponsorshipsStrong ability and experience in leading the development and management of marketing plans nationally, regionally, and for key marketsStrong networking skillsExperience in and be able to demonstrate the ability to make decisions independently and recommend viable solutions to problems and issuesManagement, negotiating, activating, and leveraging of events and sponsorshipsExperience managing people in direct reporting and indirect reporting relationshipsData-driven, and comfortable with metrics and spreadsheetsStrong experience working and building relationships with the sales team and a remote marketing teamSuperior communication, leadership, and teamwork skillsSelf-starter, able to take ownership over tasks and carry them out to the endMust possess computer skills which include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Must live in or near Miami or Ft.
