Excellent opportunity for a Director of Development Communications for Trinity Health - Southeast Michigan.
The director serves as a member of the Office of Philanthropy professional team, developing and supporting strategy and goals by leading communications of the health systems and health ministry's philanthropy-related information for donors, volunteers, physicians, colleagues, and the community at large. Responsibility includes the development, management and production of philanthropy communications and marketing in collaboration with internal and external partners and stakeholders to steward relationships with donors, funders, prospects, and mission partners - including updates on the impact of giving, messages of gratitude, information on funding priorities, hospital news of inspiring and critical importance, and calls to action.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEEducation: Requires bachelor's degree in related discipline or commensurate experience.Experience: Ten or more years of related experience.REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Discusses patient and hospital information only among appropriate personnel in appropriately private places.Behaves in accordance with the Code of Conduct, Service Excellence Standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values and policies of Trinity Health.Assumes responsibility for performance of job duties in the safest possible manner, to assure personal safety and that of coworkers, and to report all preventable hazards and unsafe practices immediately to management.Serves as creative and production lead for philanthropy communication and stewardship projects from concept through fulfillment on printed and electronic products to recognize and inform donors and inspire giving - including but not limited to case statements, solicitation letters, proposals, brochures, whitepapers, stewardship updates, presentations, web pages, social media posts, e-blasts, and special acknowledgments.Directs internal and external creative services for philanthropy including copy writing, design, photography, printing/fulfillment, videography and web and keeps archive of products.Produces content that is strategically supportive of fundraising and campaigns and works closely with the Trinity Health Michigan and Trinity Health marketing teams to ensure brand standards and alignment.Develops key messaging and tone in partnership with the VP and fellow team members to elevate donor-centered fundraising and the key elements of engaging donors in our mission.Leads editing and production of the donor newsletter content, images and final product.Represents the Office of Philanthropy by preparing, presenting and submitting information, updates, write-ups and stories to use in appropriate Trinity Health Michigan and Trinity Health leadership and Marcom channels and forums.Colleagues benefit from TRINITY HEALTH TOTAL REWARDS
