Los Angeles, California, United States Description In this role, you will be responsible for shipping world-class user experiences and act as the voice of our end-users. You will help define test plans, execute manual testing, and monitor performance across the Apple ecosystem for various end-to-end application features. Responsibilities include defining and implementing manual test plans by working directly with engineers across multiple teams. You will be responsible for driving the quality of your features by monitoring their progress throughout the software development process. This position requires a self-motivated and dynamic individual with strong technical and communication skills who can contribute in a fast-paced, iterative team environment. You should be able to communicate effectively at a high level and dive into technical details when needed. Your leadership skills will facilitate communication across organizations, negotiate various asks, and foster growth within the team. Minimum Qualifications Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and the software development lifecycle Ability to define, design, develop, and maintain test strategies for multiple platforms Experience testing 3D applications with a focus on image/video quality and performance Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with real-time and non-real-time 3D graphics and rendering Familiarity with game development software and engines such as Unity, Unreal, Maya, Blender, and Houdini Good understanding of image and video quality metrics and evaluation methodologies Exposure to augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) applications Experience with the Apple software ecosystem Additional Information At Apple, base pay is part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $129,600 and $236,300, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Employees may also participate in stock programs, receive benefits such as medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, discounts, and educational reimbursements.
