Woodruff Arts Center employees play an integral role in creating and supporting great art and education initiatives at the nation's third largest arts center. Comprised of three Art PartnersAlliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and High Museum of Artthere's a role for everyone at The Woodruff. Reports to: Director of Marketing FLSA: United States of America (Non-Exempt) Employment Status: Regular/Part time The Marketing Coordinator supports the marketing efforts of Atlanta Symphony Hall LIVE and Movies in Concert programming by assisting with promotions, social media, public relations, content creation, and event execution. This role is ideal for a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for live music and event marketing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Create and manage email marketing campaigns for Atlanta Symphony Hall LIVE and Movies in Concert series Maintain and update all social media platforms, ensuring timely and engaging content Write and distribute press releases for upcoming performances and announcements Assist in updating the ASO website (aso.org) with accurate show and promotional information Support on-site marketing efforts on show days, including press escorting, radio promotions, and venue signage updates Compile post-show marketing settlements and assist with sponsor recap materials Maintain a current database of regional shows, festivals, and marketing opportunities Coordinate grassroots promotions, including outreach to restaurants, retail outlets, and other partners Manage street team efforts for targeted flyering and local engagement Support marketing team in researching artists for potential booking consideration Collect and archive various promotional assets and sponsorship materials (e.g., ads, posters, flyers, digital placements) Code and submit marketing-related invoices to the Accounting Department Perform additional duties as assigned Schedule and Work Environment Variable schedule including nights and weekends, especially on show days Must be able to tolerate loud environments and navigate busy event spaces Willingness to travel to off-site performance venues as needed Physical activity including walking, standing for long periods, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 10 pounds Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred Entry-level experience with at least one relevant internship or job in marketing, PR, or live events Experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience in music, entertainment, or live events preferred Skills and Abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills Ability to remain composed and professional under pressure Broad knowledge of music and entertainment industry trends The Woodruff Arts Center is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at all levels of the organization.
