Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team oversees Hulu and Disney+ streaming services within Disney Entertainment, bringing Disney’s world-class storytelling to fans and families worldwide.
The Disney+ Global Subscriber Engagement and Content Programming team is responsible for content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights—all aimed at delivering a cohesive strategic content experience for our viewers.
What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Content Programming, Disney’s DTC team is seeking a highly motivated Content Programming Manager to support our streaming business and editorial priorities, with an emphasis on driving Disney+ KPIs and audience engagement across both Disney+ and Hulu.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with a team of Content Programmers to develop and execute dynamic on-platform campaigns and promotions that connect with our audiences. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with content management systems, visualization tools, and project management platforms to ensure smooth campaign execution.

Responsibilities
- Drive the ideation, planning, tracking, and communication of title campaigns and brand/cultural tentpole initiatives across teams and the broader organization to ensure alignment and successful execution.
- Oversee global editorial governance, working closely with international programming partners to maintain consistency and quality standards.
- Optimize and refine workflow processes to effectively support both global and local programming strategies, promoting efficiency and agility.
- Curate, test, and refine content strategies across Hulu and Disney+, leveraging data-driven insights to maximize viewer engagement and business results.
- Monitor campaign performance and pacing, proactively identifying optimization opportunities to enhance outcomes.
- Manage campaign prioritization and targeting strategies using audience segmentation tools to ensure content reaches the right audiences at the right time.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and campaign best practices.
- Troubleshoot creative assets and collaborate with partners on standards, practices, and stakeholder input to uphold quality and consistency.
- Partner with insights, data, and analytics teams to design experiments, collect relevant data, and measure campaign effectiveness, driving continuous improvement.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in content programming, curation, product management, audience development, or streaming TV.
- Proficiency with data visualization and analysis tools such as Tableau, Looker, Conviva, Excel, and Google Sheets, with the ability to utilize data for strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, including confidence and clarity when presenting to large groups or executive audiences.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to follow-through across multiple projects.
- Fast learner with robust critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with enthusiasm for adapting quickly to change.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, gracefully shift priorities, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Experience in growing diverse audiences across various digital platforms.
- A genuine passion for TV and movies, with a strong interest in industry trends and content evolution.
- Prior experience managing initiatives & collaborating with stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working within the streaming TV industry.
- Hands-on experience with Airtable.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience is required.
- This role is based in the Glendale office 4 days a week from Monday through Thursday and flexibility to work from home on Friday.
- Flexibility to cover evening and weekend programming events as needed to ensure smooth operations.
