Collection maintenance and preservation.
Cataloging and processing of library resources.
Management of the map and government documents collection.
Assist with the management of Montana Tech’s institutional repository-Digital Commons. Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:•High school Diploma or equivalent•Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite•Commitment and demonstrated ability to cooperate in a team environment and maintain effective and respectful working relationships with all library personnel
Preferred Qualifications:•Experience with digitization best practices•Experience working in a library•Supervisory experience•Demonstrated commitment to public service•Ability to work independently and as part of a team•Ability to learn specialized software and emerging technologies
Physical Demands•Ability to lift 50 pounds and push carts loaded with library resources•Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
