Location: Irving, Texas (Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite)

Job Type: Contract (6 months to start, full-time, 40 hours/week)

Compensation Range: $40 - 45 per hour

We're seeking a highly skilled Motion Designer/Editor to join our team, bringing a balanced blend of creative storytelling and technical execution. This role calls for a visually-driven editor who can confidently own the full production process-from concept to delivery-with a fresh, modern style and a passion for narrative storytelling.

Contract Details:

• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Initial 6-month contract with potential for ongoing assignments
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite
  
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Lead motion design and video editing projects from start to finish.
• Make independent, strategic creative decisions that elevate storytelling.
• Craft compelling narratives from raw footage, beyond just assembling clips.
• Blend strong design sensibility with modern motion graphics techniques.
• Align visual content with brand tone and audience expectations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally while also owning projects autonomously.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of professional experience in motion design and editing.
• (However, we're more interested in quality of work than years of experience)
• Exceptional storytelling instincts and narrative structuring skills.
• Strong proficiency in both motion graphics and video editing.
• Ability to bring intention and creativity to every cut.
• A modern, forward-thinking visual style and thoughtful design approach.
• Demonstrated ability to own full production responsibilities.
• A portfolio that showcases dynamic, narrative-rich, and stylistically current work.
• Experience across a variety of industries is a plus.
  
  

Portfolio Requirements:

• Strong examples of narrative editing and motion design.
• Work that reflects modern aesthetics and thoughtful storytelling.
