As a member of our team, you will design and build the most advanced mobile display modules, with best-in-class performance, quality, and reliability. Your work will directly impact user experience for hundreds of millions of people. As a Display Electrical Design Engineer, you will drive projects, from concept phase, all the way through engineering builds, and into volume manufacturing. You will work with internal and external teams to ensure a coherent end-to-end solution that challenges the status quo. Minimum Qualifications
BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience Experience with PCB design including component selection, schematic capture, and layout Experience using circuit simulation tools such as HSPICE or Spectre Experience with prototype IC or PCB bring-up, validation, and failure analysis Experience with coding or scripting with Python, Matlab, or similar tools Preferred Qualifications
Experience with module or system design and architecture focused on defining detailed electrical specs to meet high level requirements Experience working with cross functional teams on multi-disciplinary HW designs (HW, FW, SW, Mechanical/Thermal, Optical) Experience in one or more of: power (DC-DC converters, power management, low power design), analog and mixed-signal circuit design Experience in display technology, such as LCD, OLED, DLP, LCOS, e-paper Experience with PCB simulations for PDN, SI/PI/crosstalk, and EMI/EMC Ability to travel internationally up to 10% of the time At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
