Job SummaryThe Intern, Strategic Communications will report to the Director, Internal Communications, and is responsible for supporting the internal and external communication efforts for Comcast Advertising, with a focus on the FreeWheel and Effectv business units. This position will also support ad hoc projects from partners in the Human Resources, Change Management and Learning and Performance teams.
Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:Helps write internal and external communication content including newsletter articles, intranet stories, recaps and more.Prepares presentations for different stakeholders.Assists Channel Strategy team to analyze and report communication performance and metrics; contributes to quarterly recaps.Attend Comcast’s weekly Employee Communicator (EC) calls to provide the Internal Communications team with important updates and timely messages.Research new ideas, strategies and tactics in the communication field.Keeps communications fresh, creative, and engaging.Handles tactical assignments with a sense of urgency and purpose.Maintains the confidentiality and integrity of all communications materials.Develops effective relationships across Comcast, partners and functional teams.Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
