The Social Media Intern is responsible for supporting Piadas social media strategy by managing editorial calendars, contributing to content production, assisting with brand photo shoots, and passionately bringing fresh, innovative goal-oriented strategies forward to the Marketing team.The ideal candidate has a passion for building community in the digital space, thrives in a fast-paced environment, is in touch with up-to-date news & pop culture events, is highly creative and able to meet deadlines and service levels consistently with a high level of integrity.This is a part-time internship and is a hybrid remote role. Time may be spent in the Piada stores, Piada Support Center in Columbus, Ohio in addition to working from home remotely.
Responsibilities:Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Collaborates with social media manager on monthly editorial calendarActively contributes innovative strategies to drive engagement & meet guest acquisition goals in the digital spaceResponsible for responding and engaging with guests across Piadas core social media channels: Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedInPosts owned content to Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn channelsWorks collaboratively with social media manager on copy, photo & video production and digital content creation for all social media channels, mypiada.com blog, email campaigns, Piada App push notifications and SMS campaignsCollaborates on content shot lists with social media manager and coordinates photo shoots with local restaurant operations teamsAssists social media manager with all photoshoots, contributing to food + lifestyle stylingReports out social media analytics on a weekly basis, making recommendations based on data to meet department goalsLeads influencer marketing stategy, identifying short-term and long-term partners that are brand aligned, on-budget and within project scopeLeads inflencer management efforts, coordinating all influencer partnernships from start to finish, negotiating contracts, restaurant visits, content creation and paymentModerate travel within the state of Ohio. If not locally based in Columbus, will need to travel to headquarters twice per month for in-person shoots and meetingsMust have reliable transportationOccasional nights and weekend availability may be required
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Junior or Senior level college student with a focus in Marketing, Journalism or Strategic CommunicationsBasic understanding of marketing principles and social media & Google analyticsStrong understanding of Instagram, Facebook and Twitter best practicesExperience creating engaging video content for Instagram Reels and Tik TokStrong interest in photography and content creationAbility to multi-task and prioritize competing demandsAbility to work calmly and effectively under pressureExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to problem solve and think strategicallyAbility to quickly learn new systems and toolsAbility to have an open-mind and willingness to share ideasExperience with in-person events, Guest service, Adobe Creative Suite, social listening and community management preferredDisclaimer:
