This individual provides support for the Insurance and Membership Direct Mail teams which is comprised of a Marketing Manager, two Program Managers, and two Associate Marketing Managers.
Responsibilities to include:Assists in implementing all direct mail projects for the Insurance and Membership Marketing Teams from creative initiation to production, and final project completion and wrap-up.
Takes a role in coordinating the activities of vendors, agencies, internal staff, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget and on strategy.
Works with internal creative team to manage creative changes and consistently proofs for accuracy.
Works with printer, internal designer and other stakeholders to manage all facets of project pre-production and production, while adhering to pre-set schedules and deadlines.
Tracks month-by-month market expenses and budgets to ensure the overall yearly budget is not exceeded.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience
Prior agency and/or print production experience a plus.
Prior experience managing budgets and vendor invoicing.
This position is full-time and is located at the Administrative Office in Costa Mesa
Must have the capability to manage a heavy workload with competing priorities under general direction.
Candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to problem-solve and provide suggestions, alternative options to unexpected situations and scenarios.
Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills, while maintaining a professional demeanor and communicating effectively with management.
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and self-starter who likes to develop and implement department and project processes.
Solid writing and strong Excel skills are required.
The candidate must be able to multi-task and prioritize projects effectively to meet key program deadlines on a consistent basis.
Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) experience a plus, but not required.
The starting pay range for this position is:
