VP of Creative Operations
Location : Hybrid-Remote, Cedar Park, TX (in-person 3x/week)

Reporting to the VP of Creative Operations and under the creative guidance of the Chief Creative Officer, each Creative Director possesses a distinctive creative perspective. They excel in crafting exceptional strategies and concepts, effortlessly transforming visions into reality across digital and physical environments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIESCreative Leadership
Collaborate with the VP of Creative Operations to assign tasks based on team members' skills and availability.Inspire and motivate the Creative team, fostering behavior that retains talent and clients.
Manage the creative execution of multiple projects simultaneously.Collaborate with the design team, Chief Creative Officer, and partner departments (Account, Production, Events, Media Studio).Guide the Creative team across multiple accounts and departments, ensuring work surpasses expectations and has measurable impact.Maintain high standards, ensuring creative work aligns with client goals, agency standards, and brief strategies within deadlines and budgets.Uphold the highest standards for the team, differentiating between high-quality and low-quality work.Pay meticulous attention to detail in creative asset execution.
Interdisciplinary Creative Concepting
Develop visually compelling concepts for various projects, including print, digital, video, podcast, interactive, merchandise, and live/virtual events.Facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops, encouraging innovative ideas from diverse creative disciplines.Use a multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving, incorporating insights from different creative domains.Communicate creative concepts and strategies effectively to prospects and clients.Develop, present, and sell creative concepts to clients, showcasing both visual and messaging rationale.
Serve as the primary client-facing voice, presenting work and building relationships.Deliver new ideas with a clear perspective, promoting progressive creativity.Create, articulate, and pitch creative ideas to clients, effectively conveying both the visual design and the underlying messaging reasoning.
Interdepartmental and Vendor CollaborationPromote a culture of creative excellence by enhancing team communication and refining our processes.Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, ensuring consistent communication and workflow optimization.Foster relationships with external partners, ensuring alignment with creative objectives and project expectations.Ensure adherence to customer brand standards and guidelines while collaborating effectively with external vendors.Actively participate in new business pitches, providing valuable input and creative expertise to the IG and Events team.
CONCENTRATION: INNOVATION + GROWTH
Develop captivating narratives and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the Haute portfolio.Sales Leadership for Newly Developed Clients
In partnership with Haute’s Innovation and Growth team members, proactively seek and onboard new clients into the Haute portfolio.
Act as the primary creative liaison for client prospects, guiding them seamlessly through the sales process.
Oversee all Haute capabilities decks, building, maintaining, and presenting them to a diverse range of clients.Collaborate with Accounts, Events, Media, and Creative teams to develop and maintain compelling marketing case studies.Possess in-depth knowledge of Haute's events and media capabilities.Efficiently move clients towards establishing long-term creative partnerships within the creative department.
Persuasive and engaging communication and pitches
Proficient in leading effective and engaging meetings, demonstrating strong leadership skills, and adept at delivering compelling pitches to diverse audiences.Take proactive measures to align Haute's capabilities with the distinctive needs of prospects, ensuring a personalized and meaningful approach.
Conduct thorough research on all prospects, comprehending and mirroring their brand, mission, and vision.Familiarize yourself with pertinent products, services, and technologies.Grasp the needs and desires of the end user and effectively articulate them.Identify specific details to highlight Haute's comprehensive research efforts.

RFPLead the creative process in developing RFP responses for new opportunities, working collaboratively with the Creative team as required.
Assess the viability of each opportunity and Haute's capacity to respond promptly, in conjunction with agency leadership.Direct the strategic and creative aspects of the RFP process.
Provide Creative support for RFP responses with established accounts as requested.Agency Branding and MarketingCollaborating closely with the Chief Creative Officer (CCO), drive the strategic direction of Haute's agency brand, overseeing brand strategy, identity, and advertising across diverse platforms, media, design, user experience, and documentation.Oversee all Haute marketing materials and lead the efforts of assigned creative team members in updating the website, sizzle reels/videos, social media, and various other channels.Analyze qualitative company feedback to pinpoint branding needs and advocate for necessary communications or process changes.Construct and manage the Haute external brand portal and blog, serving as an online resource and inspiration center for employees and external agency partners.Take the helm as the Creative Lead or provide creative assistance for Haute events and speaking engagements.Infuse creativity into gifting and client relations/sales materials.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS + ABILITIES7 years’ experience in branding, marketing, and strategic communications; should include 5 years’ art direction in an agency environment.Ability to commute 3x/weekly to Cedar Park, Texas, studio.Experience creating
campaigns from developing vision and the messaging platform to overseeing production on time and within budgetUnderstanding and experience creating integrated content across multiple marketing channelsPassion for creating clean, usable designs that are compelling to users.Demonstrated expertise with layout, color theory and advanced typography.Proficiency in multiple software applications:
Design: Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesignPresentation: PowerPoint and Keynote
