Overview
This job leads the development and implementation of complex marketing programs and projects in support of one or more business segments. Supports customer acquisition, enrollee retention, product marketing, and portfolio maintenance activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops segment and marketing strategies and program plans aimed at increasing new sales and retention and typically spanning multiple audiences, including customers and enrollees.Develops positioning, key messages, and reasons-to-believe for segment related communication efforts.Oversees development and maintenance of marketing collateral, including marketing brochures, flyers, web and digital messaging, and direct marketing.Leads cross-functional teams to execute segment and marketing programs/projects, portfolio management, and operational/process improvements. Internal partners include Sales, Product, Creative Services, Underwriting, Actuarial, Operations, Legal/Compliance, and Technology. External partners include distribution partners, advertising agencies and print, mail house, and fulfillment vendors.Manages program budgets.Monitors and reports to management on performance, response and ROI of programs to ensure that they meet program and financial objectives and presents recommendations for improvements.Assists in assessing market segment and competitive landscape to improve or launch new programs.Coordinates training and communications with internal and external cross-functional partners to ensure seamless program updates and roll out to field.QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of experience w/Bachelor's degree6 years related experience and 2 years supervisory experience preferredExperienced developing and executing marketing strategy, tactics, and approaches including direct marketing, digital, and web/onlineExperience leading cross-functional teams to achieve program objectivesExcellent verbal and written communication including strong composition, editing, and proofreading skillsAbility to convey complex information to non-technical audiencesStrong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communicator and creative thinkerDetail-orientedAdvanced organizational/time management and project management skills and multi-tasking abilitiesDemonstrated ability to be flexible, work with ambiguity, and work with urgency to meet deadlinesAdvanced verbal and written communications skills, including presentationsHealthcare or dental industry experience preferredProficiency in computer programs such as Smartsheet, Adobe Suite including Adobe Analytics, and Google Analytics strongly preferredBase Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $59,000 - $130,900
