ABOUT THE ROLE
Mansueto Ventures is looking for a personable, highly organized, and detail-oriented Design Intern with a strong passion for UI/UX and digital design to join our digital product team managing multiple cross-device projects supporting Inc. Business Media, Fast Company, and Mansueto Ventures corporate. The is a hands-on position, concepting and developing branded and co-branded assets, internal sales and marketing documents, event collateral, and developing and maintaining daily content and special editorial packages for the website.
This role will require weekly in office presence on Wednesday and Thursday. Hourly rate: $16.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Ideate, create, and execute designs comfortably in both digital and print space
- Contribute to the creation of various websites by supporting lead designer
- Create branded and co-branded digital ad units and eblasts
- Design presentations, sell sheets and comps for marketing pitches, client meetings, and events
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Current undergrad or recent graduate with a background in Graphic Design or Interaction/Digital Design degree
- Passionate about learning the ins & outs of digital/UX design experience
- Solid portfolio showcasing work that illustrate strong visual design skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD), Keynote, PowerPoint, Figma
- A good understanding of HTML, CSS
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong typographic and layout skills
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to produce designs on tight turnaround as well as strong sense of responsibility to get things done
