Our Design team is responsible for establishing the trends, color, and style direction for our seasonal and customer-driven lines. They create apparel designs to be shared with internal teams during trend presentations, and external teams at buyer meetings. Once orders are placed, the Design team project manages and oversees the sample development and production process in conjunction with cross-functional partners.
We are seeking an intern to join the team in Fall 2024. The ideal candidate will be passionate, self-motivated, eager to learn and able to execute these essential responsibilities:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Match colors across a variety of color libraries and samplesMake and construct color chips, cards and presentation boardsFile and organize colors and fabricsPrep meeting samplesWork on production detail sheetsAssist the designers on flat sketching / trend research.Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Fashion Design programMust be able to commit to at least 2-3 full daysKnowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft ExcelPrevious internship experience preferredPositive attitude, team player, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
